Video of Deitch and Borahm at Modern Drummer Fest

This is the annual modern drummer festival. A lot of my drumming heros have done this, which made it really nerve wracking for me. Despite the insane jitters, i managed to get up there and just play beats that i love to play. It was fun to be in an auditorium full of drummers speaking about dubstep, J Dilla and DJ Premier. I look at these styles as relevant musical art forms that should be discussed and broken down in the same way as classical and jazz. Heres a couple clips of the different Beats I played that are pieces of Break Science songs. Zion station is a combo of Busta Rhymes ish Hip Hop with Dubstep influence. the 2nd clip is Dilaafrykah, our version of a broken swing dilla feel with random sounds. 3rd clip is a Drum and bass throwback track.. <br>

Yo man, from someone that was in the audience, you totally killed it! I've been trying to find a video/mp3 of the dub-step Bajah mix that you guys pulled out. It was hands down the most ragin' moment of the set! Any ideas on where I could get it without having to buy the MDfest dvd when it comes out?

Fantastic! That is cool that you were honored to play in front of your peers and played well. Sounded great.

You're really making a name for yourself and fans are taking notice. How about that dude in Denver with the custom Adam Deitch shirt?! WHAT?!

(There wasn't any Deitch merch available a few years ago so I had to make my own. That might sound odd but how many other people have Adam Deitch shirts?! Ha ha)

Keep killin' it, man.
