May is Beatles Month! Baltimore and Pittsburgh this weekend.

Soulive will spend the rest of May previewing their forthcoming Beatles tribute record, Rubber Soulive, across the US on their way to Japan.

The band debuted Rubber Soulive this past Halloween in Washington, DC and Charlotte, NC. They have done a few special sets of entirely Beatles tunes at sold out shows in Boston, Burlington and, most recently, in New Orleans during their annual trek to Jazzfest.

Longtime fans MUST NOT MISS THESE SHOWS. The vibe in these rooms has been so UP, it is insane.

Rubber Soulive was recorded at Alan's Play On Brother Studios in Western Massachusetts this past fall and will be released later this year on Royal Family Records. The only place to get a copy of Rubber Soulive now is at one of their shows. Period.

This is the first time Soulive has recorded and performed an entire set of covers. While they have delved into the catalogs of heros like James Brown and Stevie Wonder, these instrumental covers of Beatles songs are uniquely timeless and engaging.

Full rage and see you at Beatles in May!

anyone know where to get a copy of this ?

We saw the Palace of Fine Arts Show on 5/22/10, first time in person to see the dynamic trio.
The performance was well worth the wait. The preview tunes from Rubber Soulive were equally compelling!

Does anyone want to do a roadtrip from Los Angeles to go see Soulive in San Franciso?
We can leave Friday evening the 21st of May and return Sunday the 23rd.
I'll drive, we can figure out where to stay when we get there.
If so,
