It felt great to be back in Brooklyn. Sold out show, our family and friends in the house and we were wayyy UP! For those of you who didn’t make it, The Bell House is a dope new venue in heart of Brooklyn with tons of vibe. Big thanks to Celebrate Brooklyn for putting together a great event. (look out for a big Celebrate Brooklyn/Royal Family show in Prospect Park this summer.) Alan was a trooper and came through with a broken hand and still killed it. We were also joined by Cochemea Gastelum (20th congress, Antibalas, The Dap-Kings etc.) who brought the gig up another notch or two. I’m about to get on the road and do double duty with Lett and Soulive this weekend, should be fun (if my hand doesn’t fall off). Big up to all those who came out and supported in my hometown!!!!
